While boarding centers may be an excellent option for some dogs, it's important to recognize that not all dogs thrive in this kind of environment. When left alone at night, the kennels can be loud with dogs barking or whining, causing stress and anxiety for others. Some dogs experience seperation anxiety and are more clingy when returning home. Personality can also play a role in this, as some dogs are simply overwhelmed with these environments. Another important benefit is lower exposure to common illnesses such as kennel cough.

At Homestay Hounds they receive the best of both worlds! Supervised and downsized daycare is included with you pups stay. At night they are never alone with a loving family always around. They have access to a comfy dog bed with humans nearby and if you crate train, we have a few cozy crates as well. They have access to emergency night time potty breaks and get to wake up to more 1:1 attention and care.

Booking:

• 2 slots for boarding available. (3 slots if dogs are from the same family).

• Drop-off/Pick-up times are flexible.

• If pick-up is after 12pm upon return, daycare will be charged for that day.
